Job OverviewFairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our ICU - Medicine Department at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. As a Registered Nurse in our Medical ICU, we care for patients with many different diagnoses including: Covid, multi system organ failure, pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia, influenza, sepsis, renal failure, GI bleed, pre/post bone marrow transplant, pre organ transplant (kidney/liver/lung), overdoses, and respiratory/cardiac arrest.
Therapies we utilize include hypothermia, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), paralytics, and proning.
This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the night shift and will also work a rotation for every 3rd weekend.

MN RN LicensureAssociate Degree in Nursing (ASN)Basic Life Support (BLS) through Health Care ProvidersExperience: 1 year of ICU experience or 18 months recent medical/surgical experience in a hospital settingPreferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher. Certification in related specialty is highly desired. A minimum of one year current medical surgical RN experience in a Hospital setting is preferred.
One year adult critical care experience is preferred. Certification by the American Association of Critical Care Nursing or in a related specialty is highly preferred.
