Here’s What You Need:Nursing Diploma or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing programBSN preferredOne-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. One year of medical surgical experience strongly preferredRN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req AndBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req AndCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Req AndACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing ProcessAssesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
