The Verstandig Pavilion is a Medical and Surgical building, spanning 477,000 square feet and is designed to uphold the highest standards of patient care and comfort.
Our Operating Room Team Cutting-Edge Facilities: The Verstandig Pavilion is equipped with all-private inpatient rooms and advanced medical equipment, ensuring a conducive environment for superior patient care. Modernized Operating Rooms: With 31 new operating rooms, we offer modern and highly specialized surgical visualization tools, as well as the latest minimally invasive and robotic equipment, providing an innovative setting for surgical excellence.
Strategic Location: The Pavilion includes a rooftop helipad, offering direct access to our ICUs, ED and ORs for efficient patient transfers. Job Summary Professional care provider who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of intraoperative patients.
In collaboration with the patient and family, provides theory-based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with various members of the interdisciplinary team. Schedule Four 10 hour day shifts/week 0700 to 1730 Monday – Friday + Call
Education/Training: BSN preferred. Associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree enrollment required within 1 year of start date and completion within 4 years.
Minimum of two to three years of OR experience. Proficient in circulating and scrub. Experience in at least one of our top service lines Neuro, Ortho, Transplant, and /or Robotics.
License/Certification: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment, or Multistate Compact state or license eligible. CPR certification required by completion of introductory period. CNOR certification preferred.
