About this Unit:The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RNs are able to float to the Pediatric Med/Surg units as well as the following Pediatric Critical Care units: PICU, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric Emergency Department and the NICU. The critical care RNs function in the role of charge flyer in which they serve as a resource for the entire pediatric hospital, making staffing recommendations, as well as are members of all emergency response teams, including code blue, rapid response team, and trauma activation team.
This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours) every two weeks on the Night shift, 12 hour shifts and every third weekend. The RN role offers an additional $2.00/hour for being in the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool.
