The Pediatric hematology and oncology infusion clinic provides treatments for benign hematology, oncology, and post bone marrow transplant (BMT) pediatric patients. The clinic is equipped with 6 infusion chairs, 1 non-infusion/RN treatment chair, and 1 pediatric lab chair with pediatric trained medical health technicians performing all pediatric phlebotomy needs. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification, Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse (CPHON) Certification, & APHON Biotherapy/Chemotherapy Certification are required. 2-5 years of previous Pediatric Oncology experience is required. Pediatric BMT experience and Pediatric Oncology outpatient experience is preferred. An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position is Day Shift, Per Diem.
