Parker Plano, TX 75093Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 am – 7:00 pmSurgical Telemetry Unit - Our Nurses improve the quality of care for patients undergoing general medical surgery, surgical telemetry and post-op coronary bypass who come to this unit after their recovery period in ICU.

What you will need:· Associate Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma· BSN preferred· RN (required)· CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)· 1 year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req· 2 years of RN experience in cardiac or telemetry preferred· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And· CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing ProcessAssesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
