✓Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
✓Current RN licensure from Florida.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
✓Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required upon hire in Florida.
Education
✓Graduate of a nursing program.
Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program, preferred.
Qualifications
✓Experience working in a team environment. Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum work unit efficiency.
✓Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and excellent critical thinking skills. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting.
✓Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in work unit specialty area preferred.
✓Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.
One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is preferred.

About the role

The RN Team Leader acts as a formal and informal leader on the unit. The TL participates and collaborates with the management staff to assist with the daily planning and coordination of the assigned work unit. The TL delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources.
