What you’ll do

Assist physician with woundAssist physician with wound therapy

Assess compliance to theAssess compliance to the clinical pathway and bring to healthcare team any components that may be missing

Performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients with chronic non-healing wounds. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. Understands and supports the ARMC mission, vision, guiding principles and standards of behavior.

Initiates a nursing assessment of patient's condition upon admission and completes all admission nursing chart forms. Assesses and interprets reports communicating findings with assigned Physician. Assist physician with wound therapy Assess compliance to the clinical pathway and bring to healthcare team any components that may be missing Identify patient care situations that require intervention, implement nursing actions and evaluate responses Identify patient/family education and discharge needs and implement education Ensure that all orders and charges are initiated accurately Coordinate activities with other disciplines (rehab, nutrition, diabetes education, home health, DME, nursing homes and other ancillary services.) Work

Casual, as needed basis Typical hours are Monday 7:45 am to 3 pm, Tuesday-Friday 7:45 am to noon Required

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current WI RN license in good standing

A minimum of 3 years experience. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

Wound care experience preferred.
