Nights | Full-time How you’ll make an impact in this role Develop tailored respiratory care plans for our most fragile neonatal patients, conducting detailed clinical assessments to ensure every infant receives precise, diagnosis-driven support. Deliver and monitor advanced neonatal respiratory modalities and specialized equipment, continuously tracking patient stability to maintain optimal pulmonary function and respond swiftly to subtle changes.
Evaluate and optimize clinical outcomes, medication administration, and treatment protocols to drive continuous improvement and high-quality care across our NICU care team. Empower and support parents and families through clear, empathetic education, guiding them through their baby's journey and connecting them with vital community support resources. Respond decisively as a core member of the high-risk emergency resuscitation team, delivering swift, life-saving interventions during critical code situations.
What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
