As a vital part of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. The Respiratory Therapist supports the facility’s standards of p erformance and promotes the vision/mission/values of the organization . What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
Neonate Resuscitate and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Associate Degree or Bachelors degree from an accredited school for respiratory therapy. 1 + years experience in respiratory care.
