Capable of performing department-specific operational procedures including order processing, requisitioning, receiving, charging, and crediting supplies. Assists with medical gas cylinder ordering and inventory control. Monitors the departmentâs supply areas for appropriate par levels.
Restocks supplies, retrieves equipment, and re-processes as necessary. Communicates information regarding maintenance and repair of respiratory care equipment to appropriate personnel. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions Acts as departmental liaison with central supply. Receives vendor calls on new equipment and supplies.
Supervises sterilization and equipment processing areas. Performs other related duties as assigned by the department manager. Qualifications Education/Training High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic computer training. Licensure/Certification None.
