✓Minimum of an associate’s degree from a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved program.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a healthcare related field preferred
Qualifications
✓oPass departmental annual competencies in adult and/or neonatal-pediatric respiratory care
✓oTechnical skills are required to adapt equipment and procedures to patient needs
✓oAnalytical skills are required to evaluate patients and their clinical response to therapy
✓oCustomer service skills are required to effectively meet the needs of patients, families, and members of the healthcare team
✓Maintain American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) Membership

What you’ll do
Assess patient cardiopulmonary statusAssess patient cardiopulmonary status through clinical observation, patient assessment, and physiological monitoring
Administer bronchial hygiene andAdminister bronchial hygiene and therapeutic interventions guided by evidence-based protocols
Recommend and implement appropriateRecommend and implement appropriate interventions to include but not limited to initiation, alteration and discontinuation of therapy based on patient assessment
Assess patients before, duringAssess patients before, during and after the administration or application of any medication, procedure or device
Provide invasive and non-invasiveProvide invasive and non-invasive ventilator management based on patient clinical assessment, diagnostic results, ventilation values and waveform analysis
