You’ll need
Licensure
✓Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
✓If practicing in Maryland, a Maryland Respiratory Therapist license is required
Certifications
✓In lieu of an Associate’s degree, candidates must have 5–7 years of experience or hold NBRC certification
✓️ Licensure, Certifications & Clearances
✓Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
✓Therapists credentialed after July 1, 2002 must maintain NBRC certification
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification (AHA-compliant, including didactic and skills demonstration) within 30 days of hire
Education
✓Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program is required
Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field is preferred
Qualifications
✓A passion for respiratory care and improving patient outcomes
✓Ability to work collaboratively in high-acuity environments
✓Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
✓Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic healthcare team
✓Minimum of 2 years of total respiratory care experience , including at least 1 year in critical care
✓Must complete one approved department project annually, with the first project approved within 3 months of hire
