Certifications
CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) or CPAR (Certified Patient Access Representative) preferred
Education
✓Associates degree from a nationally accredited school PLUS six (6) years of Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience in area relevant to assigned area (Patient Access, Business Office, or Physician Practice)
✓Bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited university PLUS four (4) years of Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience in area relevant to assigned area (Patient Access, Business Office,or Physician Practice)
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Education, or related field preferred
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; must score in high range on pre-screening communication skills aptitude assessment. Minimum score of 71%
✓Demonstrated and highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook) or equivalent
✓must score in high range on pre-screening MS Office skills aptitude assessment - minimum score of 71%
✓Local travel between hospital locations is required for hospital rounding, acquisitions, mergers, etc.
Working knowledge of SQL preferred
Working knowledge of HL7 preferred
Evidence of the ability to work well with others - a team player preferred
Ability to organize and implement various programs preferred
