• The Clinical Nurse 2 Break Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation while meeting competently all safe expectations of a nurse; responsible for providing meal and rest periods relief for the assigned unit(s) and based on established guidelines. What It Takes to be Successful REQUIREMENTS FOR 3 WEST MEDICAL SURGICAL: Mandatory: a) Current CA RN License b) Current BLS Provider c) Current ACLS Provider within 14 days of hire or transfer d) ONS chemotherapy certification within 90 days e) Six months nursing experience f) External candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or above Preferred: a) Acute hospital experience b) 1
• 2 years previous experience REQUIREMENTS FOR 2 EAST TELEMETRY: Mandatory: a) Current CA RN License b) Current BLS Provider c) Current ACLS Provider within 14 days of hire or transfer d) ONS chemotherapy certification within 90 days e) Six months nursing experience f) External candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or above Preferred: a) Acute hospital experience b) 1
• 2 years previous experience REQUIREMENTS FOR 2 WEST TELEMETRY: Mandatory: a) Current CA RN License b) Current BLS Provider c) Current ACLS Provider. d) Minimum six (6) months nursing experience e) External candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or above Preferred: a) Basic cardiac care course or equivalent b) Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and basic arrhythmia interpretation c) 1
