As a Critical Care Float RN, you'll expand your clinical expertise while providing vital support across critical care environments, including: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical ICU Surgical ICU Neuro ICU Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Emergency Department Rapid Response Team support Every shift presents a new opportunity to collaborate, grow, and deliver expert care where it's needed most.
In this role, you will: Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams. Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record. Delegate and coordinate care appropriately while supporting team success.
Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention initiatives. Maintain clinical excellence through ongoing education and professional development. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
