What you’ll do
Assess each assigned patientAssess each assigned patient and plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
Provide safe, attentive careProvide safe, attentive care in the Post Sedation Care Unit (PSCU) in accordance with established nursing standards
Monitor vital signs, IVMonitor vital signs, IV sites, and any specialized equipment required during recovery
Complete systematic patient assessmentsComplete systematic patient assessments and clearly communicate findings or changes in condition to the gastroenterologist
Administer medications used forAdminister medications used for moderate sedation under the direct supervision of the gastroenterologist
