Licensure
✓To qualify, applicants must have a valid RN license issued by the State of Arkansas and 12 months experience in an acute care hospital.

Certifications
✓Chemotherapy certification may be required to work Oncology units
Education
✓Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, need to log in to Workday via MyApps.
✓Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor’s in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
Qualifications
✓Nursing Experience: minimum of 12 months of experience as an RN in an acute care hospital
✓Experience in the last 12 months may include up to 6 months in a management position, but must include at least 6 months in a direct patient care role in an acute care hospital
✓Excellent communication skills
✓Basic computer skills
✓Strong work ethics and accountability
✓Specialty areas, i.e.., Intensive Care, F4 Surgical Trauma are required to pass a pre-screening testing with a minimum score of 80%
✓Work one major holiday and one additional holiday if applicable, in addition to every other weekend throughout the duration of the 13-week RN Internal Contract agreement period.
✓Color discrimination, Depth perception, Far visual acuity, Near visual acuity
✓Hazards: Biological, Chemical, Dust, Electrical, Fumes/Gases/Odors, Radiation, Sharp objects/tools
✓This position is subject to pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification).
✓A criminal conviction or arrest pending adjudication alone shall not disqualify an applicant except as provided by law.
✓Any criminal history will be evaluated in relationship to job responsibilities and business necessity.
