Job Summary The Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently.
They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.

Observe indicators closely, support evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning. Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff. Build relationships with boundaries in mind.

Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.
Use problem-solving strategies and utilize available resources to support patients, family and staff as part of a systems thinking approach. Key Success Factors Familiarity with nursing and patient care standards and procedures. Awareness of legal requirements and standards of certification and accreditation bodies, including the specifics of the hospital and respective department/unit.
Good command of medical terminology, with a focus on healthcare promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention. Effective communication skills, along with social aptitude for interacting with diverse stakeholders. Possessing critical thinking and problem-solving skills is crucial.

Qualifications Completion of an accredited course Field of Study: The applicable major should be nursing. Certification: Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
