• Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway Frisco, TX 75033
• Work hours: Full time, Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM); rotating weekends/holidays required Department Highlights: 16 bed unit - newer unit looking to grow a strong team Patient population: Medical patients (GI, GU, diabetes, pneumonia, cellulitis, CHF, COPD, wounds) who need cardiac monitoring, plus some surgical patients Cardiac care: Telemetry monitoring and management of cardiac drips Ratios: 3:1 to 4:1 Self-scheduling for flexibility and work-life balance Team-focused culture with a chance to help build a new unit Here’s What You Need
• Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or
• Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
• 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req
• 1 Year Telemetry/Cardiac experience in hospital setting preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
