Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospital campuses, 31 outpatient centers, clinics, emergency rooms, urgent care sites, along with our 17,000 employees, more than 3,000 affiliated physicians and 2,000 volunteers. This is a Full time, benefited OR RN Seasonal- temporary position. The shift is varied which could mean being assigned 10 or 12 hour shifts with either a day or night schedule.
The shift determined is based on the department needs. Must be able to float to any of the 5 hospitals located in San Diego. Call is required for this role.
Our Scripps System-wide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports the entire Scripps Health system. As a member of the SSRS team, you can fill vital roles on assignments throughout the system to provide critical coverage for employee’s leave of absences, sick calls, and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments. Join our Scripps SSRS team as a Registered Nurse where you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice.
This includes the following: assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
The types of opportunities we currently offer are as follows: SYSTEM WIDE SEASONAL TEAM - Full Time, Limited tenure Scripps employee who supports 13 or 26 weeks. T he Seasonal position pays a flat pay rate of $68.03. 18 months recent RN OR experience in an acute care hospital. Current CA RN License. Current American Heart Association BLS.
Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's degree in nursing CNOR experience Ortho, neuro, spine experience Travel
