Utilizes the nursing process for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care Multi-tasks, organizes, and prioritizes patient care utilizing an efficient, concise and goal outcome process Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs Anticipates preparation of cases and needs to enhance the efficiency of the team effort, i.e. punctual case start times, accurate and timely preparation of cases (instruments, supplies and equipment) and eliminates predictable case delays Performs documentation on unit and patient records that is timely, accurate and concise Initiates and investigates needed repairs, missing equipment, supplies and other pertinent areas and follows through to ensure resolution Job Requirements Required Associates Other Nursing and One year OR and/or CSOR experience within the last two years in acute care hospital , upon hire or 2 years recent circulating experience in outpatient surgery center. and If it can be supported operationally, training may be offered to applicants having 2 years recent acute care experience in Critical Care/ER. and Bachelors Of Science Nursing and Scrubbing and circulating experience, upon hire Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and Preferred Certified Nurse Operating Room, upon hire and Trauma Nurse Core Course, upon hire Where You'll Work Mercy Medical Center Redding offers comprehensive health care to nearly 300,000 residents in a six-county region.
