Identifies potential resolutions to problems identified in data collection. Audits procedural charges and clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness. Educates staff on issues related to charging and documentation.
Communicates with department management, staff, and others regarding charge and documentation issues. Ensures accurate and efficient charge capture and documentation practices. Manages charge entry for OR/Cardiac Cath procedures.
Provides back-up support to staff as needed. Updates charge description master (CDM) charges as directed. Processes purchase orders for implants and batches charges for all devices.
Prices and releases manual charges. Supplies monthly reports regarding charge problems to the department director.
