Martin North Hospital is part of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit, multispecialty , academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. The fast-paced 25-bed 5NE Telemetry Unit at Martin North Hospital houses numerous dedicated caregivers, many of which have been here for more years. As an R N on this team , you will assist with various care activities and interact with patients of all ages and health conditions, including those recovering from stroke, alcohol withdrawal and other complications.
In this role, you can make a difference in the lives of patients and families every day, all while enhancing your nursing skills through extensive hands-on experience. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering your education, committee participation and online/in-person courses. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 A M – 7:30 P M .
A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families .
