Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center Williamsburg, Virginia Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit Stepdown Full Time Rotating Shifts The Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit (3 South) at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center provides specialized care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post‑coronary interventions, post‑ablation care, and myocardial infarctions.
The unit also manages pre‑ and post‑catheterization patients, as well as those experiencing acute stroke. The Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff.

Education Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required) Or MSN (Preferred) Certification/Licensure Registered nursing License (Required) BLS required within 90 days of hire Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred. The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
