You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed by the state of North Carolina as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
Certifications
✓BLS Certification.
✓No previous experience required, although candidates having RRT work experience with intubations, peri-natal/pediatric respiratory care experience and/or specialist designation is preferred.
Education
✓Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Care.
Qualifications
✓Entitled to the professional designation of Registered Respiratory Therapist by National Board of Respiratory Care (or can obtain designation within 6 months of hire).
✓Required to demonstrate competence in the performance of their duties specific to the age groups to which they are assigned.
✓Satisfactory school clinical rotation.
