Certifications
✓MOAB Certification during Kootenai Health Essentials required
Medical Terminology certificate preferred
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Bachelors’ degree in Business Management or closely related field preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 6 months prior customer service experience required
✓Strong customer service skills and patients/customer centered focus in positive manner in all situations
✓Excellent communication skills (telephone, written, inter-personal and customer-relation)
2 years’ experience working in a hospital, medical office, or health insurance setting, with third party government program or commercial insurance familiarity, specifically registration and insurance verification preferred
Previous Epic or other hospital scheduling/registration and clinical software experience preferred
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCs codes preferred
Surgical, diagnostic, and/or office visit scheduling, patient accounts, and/or practice assistant experience, preferred
Previous Epic software experience in Radiant, Cupid, Cadence, ADT, and/or other Epic modules, preferred
