Education
✓Bachelors degree in health care administration, public administration, nursing, social services, health services or business OR four (4) years of directly related experience.
Masters Degree in health care administration, public administration, nursing, health services or business administration, or six (6) years of directly related experience. preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a clinical environment to include outpatient, acute, or post-acute care,and/or home health.
✓Minimum five (5) years of management experience.
✓Demonstrated knowledge of health care industry trends, developments and issues.
✓Demonstrated ability to utilize oral and written communications skills and interpersonal skills such as influence, negotiation,persuasion, and conflict resolution.
✓Ability to demonstrate and apply/utilize the principles, practices and techniques of quality management/performance improvement.
✓Ability to demonstrate knowledge of Medicare, MediCal, DMHC, DHCS and other federal, state, and local regulations.
✓Must be able to work in a union environment.
Knowledge of Utilization Management, Home Health, Palliative Care Hospice and SNF programs. preferred
Knowledge of local market as it relates to HI Waitlist. preferred
