You’ll need
Licensure
✓New York State License (L.R.T.).
Certifications
✓American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
✓Or at least one of the following: ARDMS, NMTCB
Education
✓Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivocal Sonography/Nuclear Medicine program.
✓Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in radiology or imaging services, including 5 years in a management or supervisory role.
✓Demonstrated experience managing large, multi-modality radiology departments in an acute care or academic medical center setting.
✓Experience with regulatory surveys and compliance (e.g., The Joint Commission, ACR accreditation).
✓Visionary leadership with the ability to drive transformation and innovation.
✓Strong executive presence, communication, analytic and collaboration skills.
✓Expertise in healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, imaging technologies, PACS/RIS systems, and healthcare IT
✓Ability to balance clinical quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance
