Licensure
✓Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License.
Certifications
✓Within 2 years of hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire as applicable.
Education
✓H.S. Diploma or GED.
✓Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians).
Qualifications
✓4 years Pharmacy Technician experience
1 year Customer Service experience preferred
1 year or more of work experience in Ambulatory pharmacy setting with high stress or high volume service. preferred
1 year or more of prior authorizations, financial assistance, patient interviewing. preferred
1 year or more of EMR and Pharmacy Information System, patient monitoring devices, and vitals collection. preferred

About the role
The Senior Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician provides expertise in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy practice. In addition to the regular Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician duties and direct patient interactions, this role is key to supporting both caregivers and the department leadership meeting clinical and operational goals.
