About the role

Are you looking for a career where you can obtain on the job clinical training and become credential eligible in 18 months? If you enjoy working night shift then look no further, UPMC Horizon is hiring a Regular Full Time Sleep Technologist/Senior Sleep Technologist. This position will work 4 10-hour shifts a week with no on-call or travel required.

What you’ll do
Demonstrate continued scoring competencyDemonstrate continued scoring competency with adequate completion of monthly AASM ISR requirement
While utilizing critical thinkingWhile utilizing critical thinking and following department policy and procedure under direct supervision of medical director or designee, including lead and senior sleep technologists:
Sleep study preparation- IncludingSleep study preparation- Including but not limited to review of patient chart, testing order, and proper patient identification
Sleep study set up-IncludingSleep study set up-Including the application of electrodes and sensors according to AASM recommendations with explanation of testing procedure to patient
Perform all aspects ofPerform all aspects of in-center study acquisition with a focus on quality, while delivering exceptional patient care
