The Sonography/ultrasound Technologist II will be capable of applying imaging to include proper machine settings, transducer selections and additional imaging using both fixed and portable equipment. Must be knowledgeable of techniques and patient positioning to produce high-quality ultrasound images. Works closely with Radiologist.

The Sonography/ultrasound Technologist II will be capable of applying imaging to include proper machine settings, transducer selections and additional imaging using both fixed and portable equipment. Must be knowledgeable of techniques and patient positioning to produce high-quality ultrasound images. Works closely with Radiologist.

Individuals in this position will work under general supervision but must be able to exercise independent judgment and initiative. Works in a medical environment with much interaction with patients, fellow workers, physicians, and others. Works with all segments of patient populations, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients.
