Certifications
✓Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
Education
✓Master of Arts, Science, or Education degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program with all requirements met for engagement in Clinical Fellowship Year. Demonstration of successful completion of certifying examination (ASHA).
Qualifications
✓Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
✓Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families and health care team members.
✓Analytical ability sufficient to identify changes in patients’ conditions and to initiate appropriate action.
One year of full time equivalent experience in a supervised health care setting preferred.
