Job Details The Speech-Language Pathologist provides treatment to children/adults at our outpatient facility and is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high-quality healthcare.
Evaluates and treats speech, language, and swallowing needs in children and adults of all ages and diagnoses. Develops individualized treatment plans and sets goals for children/adults diagnosed as needing speech and language/feeding/swallowing interventions. Re-evaluates and modifies treatment programs as warranted.
Selects appropriate evaluation tool(s) for the purpose of assessment. Provide speech therapy services to children with IEPs. Areas addressed include articulation, voice, fluency, receptive and expressive language skills, oral motor competence and dysphagia.
Accurate documentation for all patient visits in EMR Educate patient and family members. Work with the interdisciplinary team when indicated for plan of care.
- Master's Degree in Speech
- Language Pathology required. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech and Language from the American Speech
- Language
- Hearing Association (ASHA). New York State license and registration in Speech
- Language Pathology required. BLS certification. TSSLD Certification is required. Pediatric MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) experience preferred. Pediatric and adult outpatient experience preferred. Infant feeding experience preferred. Ideal candidates possess a passion for and experience in pediatrics and enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to comply with all regulatory standards. Posted Salary Range USD $45.96 - USD $57.50 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
