Speech Pathologist (Clinical Fellowship) (Outpatient), Day Shift Full Time

Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Education and Work

Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required Licenses/Certifications: Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Preferred Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Serves as a department role model and clinical resource. Maintains and advances professional knowledge and experience through continual educational opportunities. Assists in department operations, as requested by managers.

Ensures patient, visitor and staff safety. Identifies and reports potential hazards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to plan, implement, evaluate and revise individualized patient care and discharge plans, based on patient medical record.
