You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current and unrestricted New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology license or temporary license issued by the State of New Jersey.
Certifications
✓Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred or required based on position.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Education
✓Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).

✓Demonstrated knowledge of speech-language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing evaluation techniques
✓evidence-based treatment planning
✓dysphagia management
✓patient and family education
✓adaptive equipment recommendations
✓clinical documentation
✓interdisciplinary collaboration
✓and outpatient rehabilitation practices.
✓Schedule: Ability to work a full-time schedule and participate in required meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities.
Previous outpatient, pediatric, rehabilitation, or medical speech-language pathology experience is preferred. Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates and new graduates may be considered for select opportunities based on department needs.
