✓Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Qualifications
✓Seeking nurse practitioner with cardiology experience who would be responsible for the outpatient management of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. Key responsibilities include the following:
✓Diagnose and manage common cardiac conditions such as:
✓Coronary artery disease
✓Heart failure
✓Atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias
✓Valvular heart disease
✓Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
✓Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, including ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and laboratory studies.
✓Prescribe medications and adjust therapies according to evidence-based guidelines and state regulations.
✓Provide patient and family education on disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence.
✓Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and ancillary services.
✓Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives.
✓Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
✓All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
Cardiology experience preferred.
