Position Details:Location: Mercy Outpatient Surgery Center (I35) - Edmond, OklahomaShift: Full Time, 40 hours/weekOverview:Under direct supervision completes tasks, according to skill level, to assist surgery personnel in providing nursing care and surgical services to patients in the operating room area.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred
Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course. Preferred
Previous Nurse aide and/or phlebotomy experience in acute care setting.
BLS certified. Required certification must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. Physical
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
