Licensure
✓B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy and a current pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
Qualifications
✓Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems required.
✓Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services.
✓Proficient in the use and application of new medications and technology.
✓Leadership, administrative, human resource, and managerial skills required.
✓Demonstrated ability to effectively participate on interdisciplinary teams and committees.
✓Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
✓Knowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics.
✓Problem solving ability and analytical thinking required.
✓Repetitive use of hand and fingers (e.g., use of a computer keyboard).
✓May require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs. and stooping, kneeling, or reaching (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on low and high shelving, and to file documents in lower file drawers).
✓Sitting, walking or standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary. Must be able to physically operate the equipment used for the job.
✓Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
✓Insight Employees are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to accommodation for medical or sincerely held religious beliefs.
