With more than 50 board-certified cardiovascular physicians, more than 40 advanced practice providers and a multidisciplinary team of more than 200 support professionals, Norton Heart & Vascular Institute has the expertise and coordinated care subspecialty programs designed to manage complex cardiovascular conditions across all stages of care include electrophysiology, structural heart disease, advanced cardiac imaging, cardio-obstetrics, advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac rehabilitation.
About the position:Develop and expand Norton Heart & Vascular Institute’s cardiac critical care programOversee cardiology services in an 18-bed, dedicated cardiovascular intensive care unit (ICU) located at Norton Audubon Hospital, a four time award-winning American College of Cardiology HeartCARE Center of ExcellenceProvider will work specifically in the ICU for cardiac patients but will be responsible for performing some related bedside procedures and reading diagnostic tests in the hospital Support the continued growth of the Norton Heart & Vascular Institute Structural Heart Program, including the addition of new proceduresSupport continued growth and development of established Norton Healthcare extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) servicesJoin a multidisciplinary team to include cardiothoracic surgery and vascular surgeryOpportunity to partner with the Norton Heart & Vascular Institute Advanced Heart Failure & Recovery Program, which includes four physicians and five advanced practice providers To discuss this opportunity, contact Brittany Brohm, senior recruiter, physicians, Norton Medical Group, at (502) 777-6533 or brittany.brohm@nortonhealthcare.org The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history.

Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
