As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll help ensure caregivers have the tools they need to deliver exceptional care—all while working alongside a supportive team and enjoying incredible views of the Mississippi River. We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician with or without certification. We are only considering applications with experience to qualify for the Tech II role.
(Minimum of 1 year working in a Sterile Processing Department).
Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Prepare instrument trays for surgeries and procedures Operate sterilization and instrument tracking systems Maintain quality, safety, and infection prevention standards Support caregivers throughout the health system by ensuring critical equipment is available when needed VIDEO: What Is Sterile Processing - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (myhspa.org) “We work in an area that is never seen by our patients.

Evening Shifts | 8-hour shifts | 2:30 pm to 11 pm Full-time | 72-80 Hours every two weeks Occasional weekends, and holidays rotate as needed. Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards) Wage rates (Tech II) start at $23.76 per hour, offering more with experience. Full pay range for this position is $23.76 - $35.64 hourly Shift Differential

Frequent needs for reaching, bending, squatting, crouching. Able to tolerate heat while wearing personal protective equipment. Is able to work in an environment with frequent noises, alerts, and disruptions.
EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED graduate or equivalent required.
Experience in healthcare preferred. Requires little or no prior relevant training or work experience. The ability to understand detailed technical instruction for surgical instrumentation and equipment.
