This Full-Time role is ideal for experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technicians looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team with exposure to a wide range of instruments.

  • Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipment
  • Ensures the sterile instruments and equipment are available
  • Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient care What We're Looking ForEducation: High School Diploma or GED, required.

One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.

Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays.

Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification. Why Choose Novant Health?
