Assures compliance to established policies and procedures, laws, and regulations.

Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy. CERTIFICATION &
PHARMD-Licensed Pharmacist TYPICAL
5 years of recent relevant experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Familiarity with California Board of Pharmacy laws and regulations focused on Pharmacist and Pharmacist in Charge responsibilities. Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical generic and trade names, pharmaceutical calculations, and laws and regulations relating to the practice of Pharmacy.
Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and/or leaders to achieve business objectives. Demonstrates commitment to providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer needs/requests in a prompt, courteous manner. Leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service and achieving business results. Requires a basic working knowledge of legal requirements and accreditation standards including National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), The Joint Commission (TJC), Title XXII, United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and United States Pharmacopeia (USP).

is $210,080.00 to $294,112.00 / annual salary The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program.
