ResponsibilitiesThis employee supervises and oversees the administrative and technical operations of assigned area in accordance with the standards of accrediting agencies. Performs laboratory procedures as necessary. Ensures accurate and timely lab test performance.
Responsible for maintaining staffing, performing evaluations, and the training and education needs of assigned area. At times, will be required to interact with a client/physician to resolve an issue. Also directs the handling of stock for the clinical areas.
QualificationsRequired:With Associate degree, three years of experience as an Applicant and/or a credentialed Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Histotechnician (HT); With Bachelor degree, one year experience as a credentialed Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), or Histotechnologist (HTL). Associate degree One of: MLS, MLT, HTL, or HTDesired:Bachelor degree
