Licensure
✓Maintains current professional license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the State of Florida.
Certifications
✓Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate
✓and as determined by specialty area ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required.
Education
✓Graduate from an approved school of Respiratory Care and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC.
✓Candidates can qualify by meeting the specified education requirements and/or the specialized experience requirements below:  Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, Business Administration or Health Science Administration
✓or  Associate Degree in Respiratory Care plus any NBRC Specialty Certification (NPS, RPFT, ACCS) or Asthma Educator Certification (AE-C) with documented supervisory and/or management experience
Qualifications
✓Applicant should have some leadership experience and at least 3 years in a hospital setting.
✓Three (3) years’ experience as a registered respiratory therapist in the acute care setting.
