Administers care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. The Surgical Tech will maintain standards of professional nursing care according to standards, recommended practices and guidelines of AORN, Inc.
Communicates to customers in a manner that alleviates concerns and answers questions clearly and effectively, including phone and any electronic method of communication. Answers the phone with appropriate professionalism and in accordance with hospital policy. Communicates clearly and exhibits appropriate follow-up to prevent service delays.

Communicates relevant patient information to care providers to ensure continuity of care.
