You’ll need
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
✓Non-licensed/certified candidates may be considered with applicable surgical technologist experience.
✓Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
✓Physical requirements/demands:
✓Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
✓Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
Successful completion of a postsecondary certificate or associate's degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited surgical technology program preferred.
Surgical Technology Certification preferred.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED required.
Qualifications
✓Surgical technologist/scrub experience preferred for Surgical Technologist roles; and is required to be considered for Level II/III.
✓Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

About the role
Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members.
