The technologist functions as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under supervision of a registered nurse.

FTE: 0.90 (3-12's shifts) Hours: Variable Days: Variable Location: Gainesville, FL Qualifications Education Required: Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program Experience Preferred: 0-1 years surgical technologist experience Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Association of Surgical Technologists (AST), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA).

Required to maintain active certification.
