The technologist functions as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under supervision of a registered nurse.

FTE: 1.0 Hours: Days Days: Monday-Friday Location: Gainesville, FL Qualifications Education Required: Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program Experience Preferred: 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Association of Surgical Technologists (AST), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA).

Required to main active certification.
