Team Leader, EVS - Evenings

Lead the Team Powering a Brand-New Patient Care Environment Join UPMC Presbyterian as an Environmental Services (EVS) Team Leader supporting the new Kamin Tower on the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). In this key leadership role, you'll help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while coordinating and supporting a dedicated team of EVS Aides. If you're a hands-on leader who takes pride in excellence, teamwork, and making a direct impact on the patient experience, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new state-of-the-art facility and help set the standard for service from day one.

In the absence of the shift supervisor, temporarily act in a supervisory capacity; assume the responsibilities of the shift supervisor. Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor. Communicate with unit personnel and other departments regarding specific needs in order to complete assignments.

Ensure that the daily work of all team members is assigned and that team members are working in assigned area. Ensure that sufficient supplies and equipment are available for subordinates. Report all problems to the shift supervisor.

Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair. Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor. Comply with all Hospital/Department policies and procedures.

HS Diploma/GED preferred 2 years relevant experience required UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
